My So Called Perfect Life

I have this great neighbor, whose name shall remain anonomous, but anyone who knows me could probably guess who she is. If she reads this, she’ll be embarrassed. BUT, she’s one of the reasons my life is so called perfect!

One child is puking, she saves the day.

One child needs a ride to or from school several times a week, at the last minute and she saves the day, not caring if we’re taking *even* turns carpooling.

She’s flexible, she’s easy-going, she takes my crap and still asks how she can save my day.

She lends me eggs, pineapple and chicken and her husband to help put up garage shelving which saves my husband from breaking his arm/neck/back which not only saves my day but a trip to the ER.

She’ll watch all 4 of my kids so I can run an errand without loading and unloading everyone never mentioning she has 200 other pressing projects to take care of at home. This saves my sanity and makes my kids day.

I love her! She’s the best! She’s the perfect neighbor! (If only I could get her to come scrap with me!)

It’s great mommy-friends like this who make the chaos that is my life seem less-burdened and lots more manageable! I have girlfriends who take care of me and my family without batting and eye and who give me advice. (Whether I like it or not!)

My friends make me dinner even though I haven’t had a baby recently. My friends corral the kids so I can go to the scrapbook store without 80 reams of 12×12 paper spilling all over the aisle. (Oh the horror!) My friends drop off a super-sized Diet Coke (or Code Red *hint, hint*) WITH a supersized straw when I’m at home doing 18 loads of laundry so I can sip on something other than a CapriSun.
